2006 Mission Trip to Mexico

In May, CRI has an exciting opportunity for you to become more closely involved with our mission work in Mexico. We are organizing a mission trip to Guayamos, Mexico, to distribute literature and preach the Gospel in the street. We plan to give out pastor’s libraries and smaller bundles to ministers and Mexican Christians. This trip is a chance to really get a feel for the needs of the ordinary Christians who are blessed by your gifts to CRI every day, and a way for you to directly see the amazing spiritual impact that your generosity is producing in the world.

Details of the mission are still being developed, but the plan is for all those interested to meet in Tucson, Arizona on the first Saturday of May. Our missionary partners Jesse and Jenny Navarro will bring a bus to drive down to Guayamos, where we will spend the week in distributing literature, spiritual work, and evangelism. We will return to Tucson the following Friday or Saturday. We have chosen this timeframe so that you can make the trip while taking only one week off from work.

The suggested donation for the trip is $1000, which covers room, board, transportation to and from Mexico, and the costs of the project itself. Participants will be asked to cover their own costs for travel to and from Tucson and their own homes, in addition to the suggested donation. There will be more details on this incredible spiritual journey here as we get closer to the mission date.
